just let go of the accelerator when you're passing a cop..

as for me.. i keep the RPMs at 3k and hold the accel at 3/16th of the way in.... something like that... keeps the car going but quiet..

Apexi WS II exhaust will bolt directly up to a 02-03 TL-S. With a TL-P 99-01 you will need to drill out the holes which it bolts up to on the cat.

I just got the apexi ws2 catback for my car i love it. The sound of it is very agressive without being too loud. I would definatly recommend it.

Those with the ws2... Does it sound buzzy at all?? Or is it deep or at all similar to the ATLP?

mine was just basically just same as ATLP piping with different mufflers..

i was first gonna do..

Megan M-OE mufflers

then if that sounded kind raunchy or ricey or what not.. i was then gonna get the Tanabe Medallion Hyper universal mufflers.

and then just go from there as to add resonator or not... or change mufflers and stuff..

my nightmare is putting in all types of work and then have trouble finding the right mufflers... the last thing i want is a high pitch weed eater sound out of a decently sized V6

im actually suprised at the sound our car produces already as a V6 compared to other american (and some import) cars.

i expected this nice big growl out of it. i guess the japanese engineering overtook the size of the engine lol.

dont get me wrong, im not looking for a mustang GT sound. just want to able to distinctively tell the difference between my car. and a 2.4 4 cylinder with exhaust.

most shops i've looked around are just like "embrace your cars roots, and let it hum"

the ws2 is definitely a great choice or else most of the members on here wouldn't have it

the first time i got mines on i couldn't help but to turn off my music and just listen to it while i drive.

it has a really nice deep tone in the low RPMS which is a good thing because when you're on the freeway you won't notice it as much if not at all. trust me, it gets really annoying driving long distance if you can hear your exhaust roar the whole time.

after the first week, you won't even hear it much with your windows up and if you bump your music as loud as i do.

I think 2.5 is the biggest you want to go w/o being FI.

GL with finding mufflers though, I've been on that quest for a while. Recently I've just been going through Magnaflows and seeing the dimensions they work with to base other cans off of. If I end up getting them I'll buy the mufflers then have my stock tips welded back on for teh
