Anyone try a Side EXit EXaust?

I contemplated trying it but my welder's are morons and the car was jacked up on the lift tabs where it would theoretically exit, by the right rear. Plus I didn't want to pre-maturely wear my tire from the heat, or choke on my unrestricted Co2 emitting and creeping in through my rear window faster. Any pioneers?

aside from it being mechanically possible,

you would have to do some custom bodywork too in order to make it look good. like use OEM side skirts but have a cutout for the tips. and make sure the rear lip doesnt have notches cut out already for tips.

maybe someone with some photoshop skills could help you out.

I dunno if a side exhaust would work on a TL. I'm used to seeing them just on exotic roadsters.

Idk either, that's why I was gathering thoughts. TX supposedly has the need for the exhaust piping to dump past the rear axles, but the doesn't explain the legality of a Boss Mustang. The performance gains can't be too high. I have never seen a four door with the gaul to do anything like that before. The pipe would need a drastic bend to exit the side in front of the right rear tire, a rectangular tip wouldn't look to bad, if flush with some molding.
