Anyone got Eibach pro kit for their car?
I found out that I got the eibach pro kit springs for my car. I wasn't sure what camber kit to get. Especially since the springs may have been on the car for a year or two. I got a quote of 510 for parts from ingalls if i get the front ball joints and rear bar to fix the camber, with ~100 for install.
However on the installation instructions, the alignment kit that eibach offers, 5.67090k, is only 138 for the pair. I don't know if the rear is all that is needed. http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/S...=&brand=Eibach
Wondering what has worked for someone with the eibach pro. Thanks.

Hey man, i have the prokit, this will give ya a good idea of what the ride would look like with 225/40/18's. I personally like the 18's b/c i can get the 40 sidewall b/c here in missouri the roads are far from nice. I've had many comments on how perfect the drop looks and by the way i also don't have a camber kit, i have never had any negative camber issues with the drop.

There are a few different camber kit companies: SPC, Eibach, Ingalls. The Eibach drop is 2.1" F and 1.7" R so for SPC you would need 67320 (F) and 67090 (R) more than likely. To really tell if you need a camber kit you need to get an alignment and see where you are out of spec but if you want to do it beforehand those are the #'s you need. Let me know if you need them. PM me for prices.

Soo
I need new shocks for my 99 Tl-P, but wanted an upgrade from stock...
If I get an Eibach Pro Damper Kit (found one for $277- that's good right?), do I have to get new shocks as well? I thought the kit already includes "4 Performance Tuned Shocks?" I'm totally confused (sorry, newbie here). And does the Pro-Damper Kit have a drop?

I just put the Pro-kit springs on my car this past weekend, and I took the TL in and the shop said that it was still in alignment specs. I measured it before and after and it was a drop of 2 1/8" inch in the front and about 1 7/8 in the rear, so.....I would say you don't even need the camber kit. My car still has the 17's on it and 225/45/127 tires and stock otherwise.

They are a little stiffer than stock, but in another thread somewhere on here someone bashed the eibach's....saying they are too harsh, I don't think so, but then again I have had cars with really high rate springs and lots of suspension and not very much movement. IMO they give the car a nice drop and a good ride.
