Another thread about DRL's... I know >_<

Well I'm continuing to search the internet for DRL info and came across this:
http://www.acura mdx.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=3016&perpage=15&pagenumber =1
^delete the spacing to go to the link.

and no, im not gonna satisfy myself with the fog light mods.

In the mdx drl thread, it talks about a 9006 DRL kit, but I'm guessing you can just do this to it... https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-cl-diy-faq-74/9006-9005-low-beam-conversion-470654/

I just ordered some PIAA piss yellow 9005's for the high beam, and i wanna use them for DRL/High beam cuz i would have to make a 9004/9007 conversion if i want hid low/high beams...

anyone know how similar the 1g mdx and 2g tl are in terms of the light wiring?
