Which aftermarket HID kit to buy?

My headlights arent that bright and the bulbs were bought last year. Now I want to get HID kit, wondering is there a brand or something I should look for when buying one?

Why do you need the whole kit?

If the ballast works, just get new brighter bulbs.

You can find Phillips bulbs on ebay for alot less than $200. Or Kaixen from Excelerate.

Just get D2R bulbs, pick your color, and install.

The thing is that my bulbs arent that old (less than a year) and they are authentic Philips D2R 4300K and they arent even that bright as the beginning if I remember correctly.

Will these Kaixen bulbs be brighter as in the range of light on the floor then what I have now? I wanted the aftermarket kit because I seen them on the road and they cover the whole road.

^ its the same dam thing..

aftermarket or just replacement bulbs.. its the housing that matters on how the light is shown onto the road..

if it were like halogen bulbs.. try a high wattage??? idk.

Kaixen IS aftermarket.

Will you notice a difference? Who knows. Just try them if you're not happy with the Philips. geez

If you bought some fake Philips that happened to go bad after a year, maybe. Genuine Philips usually don't go bad after a year, unless it was a factory defect...

My Philips have gone bad and they arent fake just that I dont think they are bright enough for me. Seeing that some cars that installed aftermarket kits those are really bright on the road and thats what I would like to archive.

cuz those cars don't come with stock HID..

they're housings are meant for halogen bulbs.. not HID.

in most cases with housings meant for halogens.. you put a HID in that.. it'll shine out everywhere.. our housings were made for HIDs.. putting in a aftermarket kit doesn't make anymore of a difference...

you're not gonna ACHIEVE that unless you do projectors.

Honestly, 4300k puts out the most usable light on the road.

If your Philips have gone bad, replace them with 4300k.
If your want it to "look" brighter get Kaixen 6000k.
If you want to light up the road, do a projector retro. An aftermarket HID kit won't do any more than your OEM.

A kit wont make it any brighter, dont waste your money. All the bulbs you buy will be 35w. 4300k will be the brightest and most usable light.

like mentioned above...the only reason those halogen headlights look so bright is becuz their beam pattern is all over the damn place....i bet they dont get as much usable light on the road as we do....i have Phillips 5K and they light the road up like crazy....
