Aem v2 intake

Aem v2 intake

ay new to the forum so be easy but not new to the car scene

i was wondering will the aem v2 fit my 03 tl-s even tho it says only for non type s??

and is it worth payin the extra 100 bucks for the v2 instead of the regular aem cold air?

welcome to azine

the v2 wont fit on the type s because of the larger throttle body and i didnt think it was worth it so i got it used i dont have the type s tho

Well, that's not exactly true. While the throttle body is longer on the S it's not too hard to make the TL-S intake work on the TL-P, you just need to extend the TB side of the intake whether via adding an additional 3" or so of metal tubing or carving up the stock air box intake, it can be done.

Yes, yes it is. It's .25 inches wider I believe, however there are people who have made them fit, namely on the CL side of things, using the black tubing for the stock airbox and cutting it to fit to the intake.
