i used to have a short ram, not worth the money when all your doing is sucking up hot air.

cold air will only be a problem if your driving in like a foot of water

cold air intake for the win.. short ram is pointless & just for sound. get the cold air and you'll get performance, looks, and sound..

Cold air. Even if you live where it rains or floods alot.

Just be smart...if it's been raining and you see a suspicious looking puddle, don't go trying to drive over it...simple as that.

driving in miami it likes to flood a lot, whenever im stuck going over a puddle that i dont know the depth of i always go really slow and just idle through, the lower the rpms the less air is getting sucked in

Sometimes that still doesnt work. On my old maxima i would do the same thing and i remember one time the water was so bad by my old house the car turned off on me and i had to push the car home. The next day i changed the plugs and oil and everything started up with no problems but i still wouldnt get it.

To the op there are goods and bad with cold air and short ram. From what i know cold air is better but when your at higher rpms the longer the air takes to get to the tb. Short ram does get alot of the heater air from the motor but when your in the higher it really doesnt matter and the short tubing gets the air faster to the tb. So its your call.
