Arrow AEM Intake

So I'm a little confused...

I'm thinkin about getting a AEM intake for my 02 TL-S, but then the one thats compatable with my car (21-419B) says that its for the TL WITHOUT fog lights.

How is this possible? All 02-03 TL's have fog lights, so what the hell do they mean by this?

i'm using an aem cai too. the fogs do not get in the way and trust me, this will probably be the best mod you'll ever do for the money. i think everyone should change their intake, even if they don't drive hard. it's obvious that the engine breathes MUCH better. and make sure when you get the intake it comes with the dry flow filter. it's much better than the oil based.

i have an 03 tl-s btw.

ok, one more thing I've wanted to ask you guys

since the pipe goes all the way close to the ground, are there any risks of getting water inside there? shouild I watch out for anything? I also usually get my car washed at the car wash, so will this cause any type of problems?

Unless you're driving your TL in 1 foot deep of water for an hour, you really have nothing to worry about. Rain and car washing will not cause any problems at all (unless it rains, then floods).

What about the fact that the filter gets wet? It's raining today and when I pulled the car inside I popped my hood and stuck my hand down by the filter. It was noticably wet. Obviously I don't accelerate hard when it rains, so I don't think water is going up the pipe, but it still concearns me =(

on my way home a week ago when it was raining, the stupid construction workers plugged the drain so it was flooding and i had no other way to get home... had to go through water that was close or up to my fogs but i managed to get through even with my CAI... hope no problems occur

like it was previously mentioned, unless you're driving in a lake or something, you won't have any problems with a cai. the filter will get wet of course when it rains, but nothing will happen. the filters were designed so water does not permeate through them. this is probably everyone's concern when going cold air.

I just had AEM CAI installed on my 2002 TL-S. It replaced my comptech icebox. ALOT louder and sounds like G35, but I could swear it pulls less.
