wasnt a write-off, but cuz he leased it, he couldnt pay for any damages. cuz of his budget, he was doing fine by leasing, but till that accident came, higher insurance rates, plus damage on the car. and he didnt even get a chance to go to college (not sure about him now, i bet he still hasnt..) cuz all his college funds had to go to the car. he was basically fucked. so thats why i would never lease at a young age, not even a shitty car like a hyundai. u eventually get fucked....

 

Why didn't insurance pay for the damages?

 

cuz of the lease, he had to pay acura for them to fix it. its like a contract they go through when they buy the car. when they finish wit the car, they give it back to the dealer, wit minimal damage, anything thing that breaches the contract, the buyer/leaser pays.
