AEM CAI mod

I want know did anyone did this? on their CAI? It looks like a good idea because I don't want to do a hydro lock on my car, but I want to know is it worth it to cut the intake in half? http://wizardsworks.org/chod/acura/cai/printme.html

Unless you're driving through a puddle that's bumper high, its not needed. Just make sure all your splash guards are in place and you'll be fine. Just drive smart.

I was thinkin about SRI but the SRI suck in hot air around the engine. That is why I want to stick with the CAI. But yea that's what I'm goin to do get the prefilter like xtremex626 said. thanks guys

I am looking at getting an AEM CAI and all the models I see are for the TL type S without foglights. I have log lights and the OEM skirt, will I need to remove anything to get the CAI to fit properly?

Another thing is that on AEM's website, they list 3 different intakes that all with my car "w/o fog lights" but there is model C, P, and R, I am assuming this means Chrome, Polished, and Red, correct?
