'99 TL with 401 fault code

I have a '99 TL that is putting out a 401 fault code which pertains to insufficient EGR flow. Will a new EGR valve cure this problem?

No. Your intake manifold and egr ports will have to be cleaned out. If you have under 80K you can take it to the dealer and they will clean it out and put a new improved egr in.
