Are OEM front lips the same for 1999 TL's regardless of if they are Type-S or not?

the 99 dont come type S. it only comes in tl-p and with a 4 speed trany. but if you get tat bumper man please post pics i wanna see how it looks on the car

 

yea 99-01 didn't have Type S.

thats a 02-03 front lip modified onto a 99-01 bumper.

 

besides getting it painted... i'd have to remove my entire front bumper to install it?

basically an offbrand front bumper with probaby that fiberglass front lip and just made it work together.

 

should i buy it? seems pretty tough to find a front lip

 

^i guess its a matter of you wanting to spend the money and get it painted...yea people say dont buy it becuz of the material its made out of but another memeber on here bought this aftermarket kit and he got into an accident and it held up...he said it didnt crack or break...are u lowered at all?..if u are i would just be careful on entering and exiting driveways or huge dips...

^ yea but that link was for a 02-03 lip modified on a 99-01 bumper,
so he has to swap bumpers

 

if its modified.. why would he have to swap bumpers.. they are made to fit his style.. ??

thats the point of the lip.. so he can use the 02-03 lip on his 99-01 bumper..

should just be able to drill holes and bolt up...

looks like it comes with the bumper though so maybe the bumper itself is also modified, like they flared it at the bottom, to hold/fit the lip.

if that bumper was included with the price i would have bought 5 already and made a fortune off of them...that combo is easily worth 400 bucks...

i think the purpose was just to show it fits... may have not had a model car to show for the pic.

its the 02-03 type s kit and they call it that becuz they modified it to make it fit the 99-01 model since those front bumpers are different....
