99-2000 acura tl headlight questions

i have a mini h1 retrofit kit just chilling at my house, im looking to black house my headlights and install it. just wanna kinda get an idea before i dig in, does the factory hid diffuser just "pop" out or does it have to be cut to be removed?

once you take the headlight apartyou can pop it out
