From what I can gather from the other threads...if you have a TL-S then no need for a motor swap, just swap the tranny. You can use either the CL tranny or a 04-06 TL tranny, I think there's one more but I cant remember. Oh and you'll want the Richie harness to make the wiring process alot easier.

There's literally hundreds of threads about the swap, just search dude, that's how I got all of my info for the swap

For about $500-1k more, you get 6speed swap instead of same sorry auto tranny. A completely rebuilt auto tranny will run you between $2,800-3,200.

I shudda went with the manual route, I was thinking about it when my tranny crapped out, but I was getting a rebuild for $1100, so I figured its more reasonable instead of spending all that money.....

But now its been replaced twice and it has to be replaced again , I didn't have to pay any additional money though cauz it was all warrantied. 3 times since September, no bueno

Why? Swapping a manual tranny from a car that is the exact same vehicle besides for some exterior pieces is as simple as a manual swap gets. It doesn't get much more simple for someone with automotive experience or even a local shop familiar with Honda swaps.
