Talking 2G Tsudo SP axleback sound clips

Hey guys, i just installed the Tsudo axleback on my 02 tl-p and wanted to show a clip of before/after mid-muffler delete for people who are on the fence about buying them. for the price, you cannot go wrong...but i'd love to get my hands on ATLP sometime sighhhhh

before mid-muffler delete
http://youtu.be/4hrWiANl06o?hd=1

after mid-muffler delete --- stock resonator retained

there is slight drone from 2000-3000 rpm after delete, but nothing ricey. the tone is actually quite deep, but iPhone 4 mic can't capture it. hope this helps anyone debating the purchase.

Were the hangers on your mufflers uneven?? Also if u put on some headers the sound is better. And the combo of intake, headers, mid muffler delete, and tsudos is great.

im saving up for DC headers right now, the tsudos set me back $290 shipped

yeah the left hangers are too high so the left muffler pretty much just sits against the bumper ugh idk how to fix the prob. i was thinking of taking a blowtorch to the hangers to soften them up so i could bend them but the idea of taking the muffler off again after makes me lazy lol

Ok well it's like a widespread issue then. Go to advance auto and buy new hangers for left side muffler. Eventually it will heat and remove paint off your bumper lip so don't leave it as is. Here's what I used to even mine out: http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...|GRP2023A_____
I just cut the metal part off w a snips and they work perfectly and the tsudos hang perfectly. Of course the guy who deleted my mid muffler made the replacement pipe too long and now all my work jimmying them around to make it perfect was a waste cause they're off about 1/4in on right side now. Comptech B-pipe I have will solve this once I can afford a high performance cat and install it all. Also do get the headers. By far the most pleasing addition to the TL so far.

hmmm, so i can just buy that universal hanger and just poke the muffler/car hangers through those holes??? NICE! i'll have to get on that after work today. well the paint is already gone on the part that touches that left tip now...ugh i'll have to go to napa and grab a touch up pen while i'm at it too

since it's such a deep tone now, how much sound difference is there since you have headers? i'm worried about waking up the neighbors or risk sounding ricey

The headers deepen the tone. Not really make it louder. Def won't create the ricey sound. Wake the neighbors probably not but now I find my exhaust setting off the more sensitive car alarms. I kinda love that shit in my own demented way lol. But yea get 2 of those hangers. WD 40 the old ones real good and you may be able to slide them off with the muffler still bolted on. Cut the metal hooks off and put the cut end up top (don't have to but I just prefer if someone sees it that they see the clean end) I believe you use the top hole and the hanger goes in the 4th hole down. That got me even w the right side and lookin good.
