2 stage intake swap onto 99 tl-p
iv been looking all over the forum and can't find anything about this. had anyone done the 2 stage intake swap on to there tl-p and if so what goes into doing it any info will be awesome thanks

Yea, it's been done. Just search around. And it's J32A1 and J32A2.
I'm assuming your talking about the intake manifold? It should bolt up fine, but you won't actually get the gains of the second intake opening up without a controller. I think you could keep it open, but you'd lose low end torque. Something like that.

There are a few that have done it. NSXNEXT has. The 99 has different injector rails that need to be swapped out as well. You will also need a RPM switch to activate the 2nd stage.

Yeah lower intake manifold (a.k.a. injector bases) need to be swapped as well as fuel pressure regulator, fuel injectors. It's not just simply swapping in the new upper intake manifold.

you should look for the 09 TL intake mani. Its better.

It sounds like you need to use the gaskets from the adapter and not the oem ones, along with a bit of honda bond to fill a small hole?

you also need to run another throttle cable to actually open up the butterflies..Its a lot of work and if you are serious about doing it I would look at some junkyards that have 2000 and up TLs to get everything you need.
