Is ZMax any good for rattling cars?

My 01 has about 12800 miles on it. And i notice that it sort of rattles a little bit, and definately moves when it is idle. Would that product Z-Max help solve this problem? Any other products out there would help solve this rattling?

don't get zmax, please~!

it is being sued by the government because of its false claims. it was found that it makes engines worst than just regular oil.

i would try switching to synthetic oil instead.

whatever you do, DO NOT put zmax into your engine!!!!!!!!!

I already use Mobile 1 5w-30. So zmax is being sued for false advertisement? Where did you hear this at?

I believe the makers of several oil additives were being scrutinized by the Federal Trade Commission. I haven't heard of their findings, but I suspect they will confirm that this product (and others like it) are scams.

Since i use mobil 1 5w-30, and i feel a slight rattling sometimes, could that mean that i might need an oil change? I change it every 5000 miles though and its almost but not quite there yet. Is every 5000 miles a good time to change your oil, or is it too late or too soon? Inspire, how often do you change your oil? and for those who use 5w-30 synthetic, how often do you change your oil?
Keep us updated on the zmax false advertisemnt thing. Did you hear this on the news, magazine or what?
Thanks

5000 miles for synthetic sounds good. are you using honda filters? might want to try a different brand of oil filter, but i don't think that it has anything to do with the rattling.... what did the dealer say?

the zmax stuff:

straight from the FTC government site

FTC is gonna get their asses....

shi@t, I used to change the mobile 1s every 3000 until one of my buddies from Metro Honda told me that it be better for me to leave em in fo longer mileage. But before he told me, I was spending $$$ for those oils. @#%$...

NO

Do a carb cleaning on your car. It would make youe engine smooth. Very noticiable. Dearlers charge $150 for it.

I do it myself for $10.
