Question Zainos versus Meguiars ? Which is better?

Hi guys,
Had some idiots pour pop all over my brand new spoiler and the next morning it baked into my beautiful black pearl paint before i could wash it off. If i ever catch those b*****ds in the act , watch out, i go psycho and show NO MERCY ! Just wanted your guys opinions on Zainos versus Meguiar's products? I got most of the
damage out, some faint marks left .

B.

Well you're actually conparing two different products. Meguiars is a carnauba wax whereas Zaino is a polymer. Although they technically serve the same purpose.

From what I've read on polymers, they are much tougher than carnauba.

I have over 25 coats of Zaino on my car and the paint looks like it is wet.

I've heard very good things about black cars and Zaino. Search this site for Zaino as well as http://www.acura-cl.com and Zaino's site http://zainobros.com

Also search http://autopia-carport.com/forum/index.php3 It's a great detailing board and there are lots of very knowledgeable people there to help you.

I would definitely recommend Zaino.

I have put three coats of Zaino on my FPR TL and I will never use anything else! The Zaino is a little more work than just "waxing" your car but I feel it is really worth the extra effort.

The very first day I had my new 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I was driving home and some kids in the car in front of me thought it'd be funny to throw a McDonalds shake out the window - only they didn't realize I was behind him.

The shake landed right on my hood and splattered all over the windshield, but fortunately I managed to stop without incident.

Surprisingly, the kids in the car also stopped, and the idiot who threw the shake was very apologetic, so I couldn't get too pissed off them. They volunteered $10 for a car wash, but I was 5 minutes from home anyway and just hosed the stuff right off.

Nice way to break in a new vehicle
