Zaino Vs. Klasse on ABP

It's time to wash and detail my fresh new Aegean Blue Pearl TLS.

I have read a lot of good things about Zaino and Klasse products.

What is the general concenses of this board for the Aegean Blue color?

I am planning on picking up some 303 products at my local Sports Chalet for the interior. But I'm having a dilemma over which wax/polish to go with. There does seem to be some controversy. I'm sure everybody has their favorite... I'm just looking for a bit of help to find mine. I've read a lot of threads on this topic, but maybe a couple of quick posts could help me make up my mind.

So what should I order, Zaino or Klasse?

Thanks a lot!

Gret choice on 303 protectant. I use it for the interior and it makes the leather so nice and soft.

As for Zaino vs Klasse, check out THIS thread. Great pics of Klasse vs Zaino.

Oh and here's mine. Zaino all the way. To get a shine like this on silver is not very easy. Before the NJ meet next week, I'm gonna top my Zaino work with a coat of carnauba.

Carnuba on Zaino? Thought there was talk about how this was chemical different. Should be a good experiment though. Give us back the results. So will you be using a carnuba based QD instead on Zaino's? I'm going to go with PC polish+AIO+SG+Carnuba whenever it quits raining.

Well personally I've been using Mother's products which I love, and I can get them at the local auto store. I will probably be switching to Blackfire though since I've been reading good things about it. I also think waxes like Blackfire and Zaino last a little longer then the Mother's, so I'm all for that. My sig has some pics. They weren't taken to show off the shine, but even in the darker ones you can still see the reflection of other cars, etc....

I had a ABP TL-S. Zaino. Don't use anything else. The car looked great even after it was crashed, well at least the other side. And it still does after being at the shop for over a month.

Amazing!

Damn, those are some nice car pics! I need that look before it's too late! Thanks for the link nsxnext! I can't believe the complete mirror shine of these cars, especially on your silver!

It sounds like you can't go wrong with either zaino or klasse, but I have decided to put the check in the mail to zaino. Should I get the Z2 or Z5 or both? Use Z2 first, until I start noticing small scratches, etc and then use Z5 later to cover them up? While I'm at it, I'm going to order the zaino car wash concentrate and the "leather in a bottle". Even though I am planning on using 303 for the interior, I might as well have some of both and maybe do a comparison... Anybody have anything to say (good or bad) about "leather in a bottle"? Is the smell too fake? I don't want that car wash pine-tree hanging from my mirror smell... lol

In any case, do you all concur that either zaino or klasse is far superior to any "store bought" conventional wax type products like maquires etc. I am not only looking for a great shine, but also the best in protection with respect to beading up water, sun fade and oxidation ,etc.

It's obvious that zaino and klasse look great, but do they last and protect from the elements as well as conventional products? OR are they primarily intended for indoor "showcar" uses?

Thanks again... GREAT LOOKING CARS, GUYS! They make me actually want to get out there and sweat this weekend!

Zaino Mail Order

Bluedragon,
As far as I know, Zaino is only available through mail order. Check out their website www.zainobros.com and read about their products. The more you read, the better they sound.

They have a mail order form to print out and send in with your order. I find there prices to be reasonable. I just hope they ship quickly, as I can't wait to get my baby dialed in!

Good luck with whatever you choose!

This forum is evil..EVIL I tell ya! Ever since I joined, I've been spending my money like there's no tomorrow. I never realized a product like Zaino existed. Since I baby my car so much, this is a must for me (but then again, all my previous purchases were a must ) Thanks for making me spend more money again.:p This Zaino stuff looks awesome. How long does the shipping usually take? Can't wait to get this stuff on my baby.

Just ordered the Zaino Z-2. They should really consider taking orders online. This is such a hassle to still use snail mail for placing orders. Nevertheless, can't wait to get it in the mail.
