Does the TL-S in auto mode shift real quirky. It seems it shifts at like 3,000 rpms and by the time you are at 60 youre in 5th. I try and drive in auto sometimes but its so sluggish it gets on my nerves, but in SS mode it seems so much smoother. Am I over reacting? Should I get it checked out?

 

It does like to shift at very low RPMs. Pisses me off around town so I never have it in full automatic, always use the sport shift.

 

Try driving with just a little more gas pressure, it wont shift as soon. And so what if its in 5th by 60? would you rather it be in 3rd wearing down the clutchpack and eating up your gas?

 

Lol. my TL shifts to 5th gear at 50. By the way, I hardly ever pull my TL about 3000rpm.
Yea, I think you are over reacing. No, nothing is wrong w/ your car.
