Your experiences with H&R Race & Eibach Pro-Kit?

sup guys...well sometime in november imma get sprins for my TL...but im not sure which to get

darkfox has the H&R Sport Springs (1.75/1.5), but i want mine lower

so im contemplating between the

1)H&R Race Springs (2.2/1.75) for $170 w/o shipping/tax

or the

2)Eibach Springs - Pro-Kit (2.1/1.7) for $210 w/o shipping/tax

(these prices are from the Acura-tl.com store btw)

i need some help from u guys though...

For you that have these springs...how is the ride quality...and with an OEM kit...does it scrape like crazy?

And what do u guys recommend from yur knowledge?

darkfox told me the ride with the H&R Race is very bumpy...so he recommended the Eibachs...but my brother had H&R Race springs in his Prelude, so im used a bumpy ride i guess.

thanks for all yur help guys!

I got the H&R Race springs. If you're used to the Prelude's ride with the race springs, you won't have any problems with the Race springs on the TL. Naturally the ride quality will be more bumpier than the Sport springs, but not unbearable. If you drive mainly on fairly good paved roads, you should have no problems. No problems with scraping over speed bumps at shopping malls and such, you should be OK. The really big speed bumps, make sure you go side ways, take one wheel at a time. The only time I scrape is going down a steep back alley or up a steep incline (like a drive way) - I try to avoid those. Otherwise no problems.

it is recommended that you get some aftermarket shocks as well, and im pretty sure you'd need a Camber Kit. Just keep those things in mind. you could also go the Coilover Route

I have the h&r race on my 02 Type-s and they are a little ruff but no that bad. If your use to your bro's prelude then you'll be ok. Let me know how much your getting the springs for with tax and everything else cause i might be able to get you a really good deal on a new set.
