Post Your Driving Style of TL-S

I am wondering if you guys drive the TL-S like a true sports car, pushing it pretty hard consistently. I cant help myself from accelerating fast and driving in SS aggressively. Do you guys think the TL-S is meant to be driven consistently hard and do you guys do it, because I know I do.

Hehe.. i was wondering the same thing --> I drive it aggressively 10% of the time, meaning I'll floor it at a light, and/or drop into 2nd, cruise at 4800 rpms, and then sneak attack some lonely Taurus. I rarely take it hard into a turn -- only did that once to prove how poor the weight distribution and FWD characterics are for racing (to a friend). I use SS 30% of the time.

Honda engines are built pretty tough in my experience --> both my friend's had modified Integras for three years and beat them to the ground -- never a problem at all. However that's a four-banger, and this is a six pack.. I would use the light bulb rule --> the harder you drive it .. the more likely it'll give you probs in the long-rum -- post-50K miles..

Plus, the aggressive tendencies are wearing off after having had the car for nearly 3000 miles for me...

I have been driving the car very aggressively, but I have noticed that these tendencies are fading. Now that I have had the car over a month and have about 2000 miles on it, I am settling into more normal driving habits.

Good thing, too, because my gas mileage has been pretty bad.

I agree... it's hard not to drive it hard, but I've also owned enough cars to know that they're all made of metal, plastic, and rubber... not matter who manufactured them. So, if you push them hard, they fail earlier... and eventually, they all fail!
