I've been lurking here for a few months, trying to decide between a TL-S, Passat GLX (hated the automatic), Volvo S60 T5 (too pricey for the size), and a 525i (loved this with sport pkg, but too slow).

I sold my 99 Accord V6 last night, went to John Eagle Acura (Houston) and got a decent deal (30,710 for non-nav, plus 595 for spoiler). Every dealer in the city said the same price (what is this, dealer collusion?), whether by 'fax attack' or eacura.com. It was the same price the no-haggle dealer in San Antonio said as well. Since I didn't want to mess with a rent car, and just want to get the TLS, I bit.

I can't wait. We have a '00 S2000 that is really fun, but too harsh for my downtown driving chores. I think the TL-S will be a terrific compromise.
