Does any1 know a good bulb to use for yellow high beams, i got some mtec shit off of ebay but they arent really yellow, almost looks stock even thought they are bright as f***.

How are the PIAA Ion Crystal bulbs? i want a nice yellow bulb to contrast the hids.

BTW, i did the turn signal mod in the front, no more parking lights, only flashers, looks hot at night.

 

I had the PIAA Ion Yellows and it looked yellowish-white when you stare from the front of the car but when you're sitting inside driving, the color of the beam is yellow and is 2500K as advertised. Personally, I prefer the xenon white look...

 

I was gonna get those too, glad I didn't then.

I was thinking of using existing high beams but put a yellow film on the High Beam part only on the lens on the outside. That might look cool with lights off or on.


BTW, anyone know how to re-wire so highbeams can be turned on with parking lights on or off. I dont want the HIDs on just Highbeams or Highbeams with parking.

 

useless post, but just in case i change your mind.....i prefer the all HID 8000k look.......and if you aim up your headlight just a tad, high beams are only sometimes necessary.

 

Why the heck would you want to drive around with the highbeams on, blinding people....

... and they wonder why road rage is on the rise...
