Yeah I Did It!!!

Hey guys...I finally finished installing my OEM kit on the car. It took me about 4 hours 'cause some of the parts and pieces were damn hard to take off because of the dirt and stuff.

But let me tell you it was 4 hours well spent 'cause my ride looks sooooooo much better with the skirt kit on. Can't wait to get my H&R's installed next week

Yah I know. My mechanic told me to take a piece of wood right on the back of the skirt and hammer away and the side skirt will come right out. Thanks a million for your help Inspire!!!

HEHEH..THANX MAN...
I took some pix long ago and had them posted in Gallery, but I didn't have them side skirts installed at the time. I do now... but have not got the chance to take any more pix for everyone's enjoyment... but anyways, here is the link for the timez with no sideskirts.

i've been quoted from 599 w/o installation to 1600 w/installation for a pre-painted body kit....

my problem is, i have to choose from either a body kit or springs..because the driveway going up to my house is on a bi.tch of an incline...with my car sitting stock, it only clears the incline by a matter of inches...maybe 2 inches max and thats turning sharply to go up the driveway...
therefore i can only go with one or the other, right now i'm trying to decide springs or kit???

but keep looking for body kits, but i think its gonna be hard to find any used kits unless you can dig them up at some junkyards..thats what i would recommend, i've been trying to find the 02 tail lights at the junkyard too...no luck yet..hehe

IMO...get the springs & the kit and then park on the street, or find some alternate parking space!!!

but i park in my garage though....thats why i need to go up the driveway.....or else i'd definitely park on the street...i'll probably end up building some ugly ass ramp just for my car....to clear the drieway...hehe....o well, for the love of a car i guess...

Thanks for the comments guys.

I'll be doing the black housing headlights a little later on when I have a few days off. I'll be sure to post pics when I'm done.

you know for your 02 tail lights....can you just take those tail lights off of any 02 and install it on a '99? or do you have to buy the aftermarket ones from acura or some other place. Because if the 02's fit perfectly onto '99s then I can go pick up some at a junkyard...

They bolt right in. You might want to get the wiring harness though because one of the lights will be loose in the socket. Or you can just use some tape or some clay to hold it in place.
