YAY installed 6cd changer

wow im so happy i actually pulled it off

i had a stock bose stereo and bought a 6cd changer from ara in irvine (thank god he was like 10 minutes from me)

i pulled off a bunch of shit and didnt know if id be able to make it. got stuck at some parts but pulled through.

i really got fucked when one of the screws that held the stereo were previously sliced by someone, so lucky i had my friends drill and i drilled the fuck out of it. then i accident hit a side and it drilled that too, but thats not important and its hidden

ill post pics up later

and ill tell you this story where the car nearly gets hit cuz the e brakes failed and it rolled downhill. wow.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT YOU GUYS.

if u put the in-dash changer from the 02/03's i thought it was easy as plugging into the old harness' used by the previous bose system?

It is, but you have to take the old radio out first

funny thing is that once you hook up the blitzsafe and your mp3 player, you'll never use the 6 CD changer. then you'll realize that you should have just kept the old one and save yourself some time and money

www.blitzsafe.com
hooks into the back of your radio and lets you hook up your mp3 player via a Y-cable to your radio. better than an FM transmitter or cassette tape thingy

pics

well here goes the pics. i actually took them while installing them back on. and if anyone wants to buy a stock bose stereo. please PM me. great condition.

stock before:

step 1: i removed the wood trim from both sides by starting at the center console going towards the deck (lift up, pull back) very simple

both sides removed

then... i did a bunch of shit and it came out =] hahahaha sorry for bad instructions wasnt planning to use as a guide here are pics tho.

and if you notice in last pic. on the top right. there is a screw that is drilled down.

when i found out the screw was cut i thought i was fucked untill i found my friend had a drill set. i drilled the fuck out of it and the unit came off =]

if anyone needs help. ill be glad to help.
