Sup Guys,
I keep hearing people saying they use dishwashing soap to strip the wax. Y? Is it bad to double the coat? Sorry if this was posted up before, tired of looking to many post on wax![](http://www.acura-tl.com/ubb/frown.gif)

You should only strip the wax if you're planning to do a full detail process on your car with the Claybar, and all of the wax and shining steps involved. After that initial process, you should was with regular carwash and just do the waxing part. This way you build up a nice layer of wax. The washing with Dawn / full detail process is something that should only be done once, maybe twice a year.....

Thats correct only use dishwashing detergent to help strip the wax off. This is why people that use it to wash there cars are just taking the wax off.This should only be done once. The claying should only be done once a year also.
