XM Satellite radio for 03 TL-S

Has anyone out there installed an XM Satellite radio in a 2nd Generation TL? I would like to get one, but want to avoid the "cluttered" look of a bunch of wires hanging out, as well as the need to drill holes in the dash to mount it.

Just did it this weekend. It took me 12 hours, but I hit a couple of snags (not to mention, changing my mind several times on how to run the wires). I installed the XM Commander just above the CD slot, centered and covering the CD carrier area. The CD carrier was immobilized from popping out and the wires were run just underneath the climate dash plastic. No wires are seen. A special hidden mount was made using electrical tape and 3M super glue gel. The antenna was set on the window edge of the trunk, with the wire tight against the trunk to minimize its visibility. I purchased some colormatched spray paint and am thinking of coloring it. Not sure. I'll live with it for a little while first.

I did. I put the roady in my sunglass holder and the antenna on the front dash... Very clean. You dont see any wires and the only thing you see is the antenna...

Mr ,

Did you have it professional installed into the sunglass holder? The suggestion that Jung gave me will not work, as I have the Navi.

I used a PanaVise bracket to mount my Skyfi Delphi unit, ran audio through the tape deck (louder and clearer than FM modulator), ran power to the 12volt socket under the h/u, and ran the wires for the antenna to the trunk.

I think the install looks pretty clean-

you can copy/paste the link from my sig here, or for my details just do a search on user travelguy at xm411.com.

Visually, mine looks like greyjhu's above, with the Panavise mount.
