WTF Front Lip Flew Off Freeway

So I just got my car back from the shop (Im making my car back to stock and took the spoiler off) Well Im driving down 59 South when all of a sudden I hear this loud wind noise. Im thinking maybe my windows were cracked open. I double check to see if they were rolled up and they were. 5 seconds later you hear this rippppppp boom! noise and I look in my rearview mirror and my front lip had flown off. (BTW its a wings west front lip) I was going about 70 MPH in the second right lane. I turn around to get my lip when it had already been run over numerous times and pushed over to the shoulder. Its pretty much beat up. Scratches everywhere and two huge cracks in it. I stlil took it home for memories if anyone in Houston wants it for free let me know.

One question.....now that the body kit is off how do I remove the black sticky stuff from the bumper? My brother suggested using Goo Gone but does anyone else recommend anything? I tried picking it off but looks like it will take a long time and the 95 degree heat isnt making it any better. Thanks for the help guys

Dang, that sux. That happened to me before on my previous car. I had a Greddy lip, but I actually hit something. Goo Gone will most likely work best.

What did you guys use to install your front lip? Did you use any screws or bolts?

I believe there are 2 screws on each side of the lip and the black sticky tape all around.

That stinks. I always worry about that happening. I'm sorry it happened to you.

Hahaha, sorry, dude. That sucks. But I'm laughing because that once happened to my friend Andrew in his S2000. He crashed at the track and broke off a portion of the bumper. He ziptied it back on, but on the way home it flew off on the highway, and hit another friend's car behind him. I thought I was gonna lose control of my car because I was laughing so hard.
