ive been looking for a parts car for my tl. and ive been coming across a few of these cars.

just letting u know to look out and upgrade ur alarm. its nice to see j swaps, but at what cost. ur car getting stripped? thats what i was afraid of




thats the first one i found with a few min. so sad that ppl go that far to get parts.

That's what I'm afraid of too. Living in the city, lots of Civics and Integras. Never know when one of them is willing to go that far to boast a J series swap...

yes...ive been seeing alot more j swaps latley going into civic's and integra...wich is my fear...our cars will start to be a popular target for these scumbags who cant work for anything...the whole reason i sold my 2000 gsr

wow freaken low lifes stealing our cars so they can swap there civics. i def got worry around my place, there are TONS of modded and riced out civics who would love to get there dirty hands on a j-series engine. i think my next mod is going to be a good alarm system rather than a performance mod. this poor economy does not help either. i feel sorry for you guys who have gotten your cars stolen or broken into.

hopefully not, bc than we would have ricey tl/cl all over the place, and the value of the car would decrease bc of what ppl have done to them

the main reason for hoping that ppl don't turn these cars into ricers is because that means we have to watch out even more.. we don't want these cars turning into si's and integra's which are targets for theft

oh yeah.. if that was my ABP (god forbid).. i would never get an acura again.. just for the reputation the honda community has with shit like this..it's too crazy nowadays. you don't see this happening with nissans, mitsus, toyotas, or any other brand this often

Thats what im afraid of now. There is a site for the swaps and our motors. its the j32a motor code and dot com. The reason i want everyone to know is because once in a while take a look over there. If someones stuff is stolen you might want to check sites like though because they have a market place as well. You can buy 6sp trannys there too. I would watch out for the 6sp guys. They are the ones they will be targeting. They want the 6sp tranny and the Type S motor. They are using the motors from the UA6 as well. So its not only us its all TL models. Hasport makes the motor mount swap kit already. Ever since I saw the V6 swap happen, its making it scary for us.
