so that was about a week ago and a couple 'neutral drops' later and my trannys shot. So i just kept shiftin between 2-3 gears and really got on it and it didnt take too long for that d5 light to start flashin. anywayz im off to acura tomorrow, i think ill raise my coilovers up before i take it over there just to avoid any shyt the dealership mite give me. il post sum pics up b4 i raise it up. i just hope this new tranny will hold up for a little while and i really wont mind holdin on to this car for a good couple yrs

Well the new tranny should hold up for awhilie. Acura redesigned them on 02/05 so there is hope that these new ones are good ones, and so far they seem to be doing really well. Anyway enjoy the loaner and be glad it went under warranty.

Damn man, let me know how it turns out for ya, ok? I've never seen anyone do that to their tranny on purpose yet...Hopefully there isn't a way to tell that's what happened. I doubt they could tell though.

well from what iv been reading, it seems like everyone just sends it out cuz they dont repair trannys on site. Either way i dont think they could tell, im just amazed at how fast it got messed up. im bout to raise the car up now and i gotta raise it by the shock body, so i really dont feel like doin it. u guys think theyll give me shyt for it being lowered?
