WOW APC Makes a pretty damn good product - pic/read

Walking through the local Pep Boys and came across these

I bought the 1157 in amber and used them for the front parking/blinker lights. Man they are pretty much invisible when the lights are off, give off a nice amber hue when the parking lights are on, and blink pretty bright when I turn on the turn signals.

For those with cleared headlights, these are a must. I don't plan to clear my lights, but they definitely get rid of a lot of orange up front.

Best $12.00 I have spent in a while.

Sorry no pics, my digi cam is broken.

Neil

I just bought the 303 protectant but I want to prep and clean my seats before I put the product on? thanx for your help.

I use a damp microfiber towel. The seats don't get dirty. Any sweat or oils from you can be wiped up with the damp microfiber towel.

You could always use the Lexol cleaner if they get really dirty.

Sandeep,

They look stock. I really can't tell the difference. I installed one and gave it a good look vs stock.

for $12 it can't be that bad to try out. Hell, if Hyundai can make a turbocharged 4 banger then APC might accidentally make some decent too.

The Raybrigs are $20 a pop though. These ones are made by Hiper and are way cheap... like $5 or something.

Yeah Nate you da man

Well I guess since I was the first to try them, I wanted to get something local so when the didn't work out, I could EASILY take them back.

Good luck with your bulbs. Hope they look good. I'll stick with my crappy, I can return them when I decide they don't look good APCs.

And of course everyone that sees my car will know they are APC bulbs, right?

I wish I had the idea to market that stuff. That company is making a hell of a lot of money off kids that wanna make their car "unique", albeit "ghetto"

They're fricken light bulbs. BadazzTL, give it a rest already.

They look great, no one has any clue they are APC. For $6 a pop, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Sorry your caviar taste is soured.

Hey, I saw these at Pep Boys the other day. I think I'll pick some up for myself, it doesn't bother me that they don't say Tommy Hilfigger on em. I'm sure APC bulbs are the same as any other fawkin bulb out there!

I drove to three different Pep Boys today to get them but I got them.

They are definitely a bit darker then the stock amber 1157's IMO but I don't really care, I don't have that "large" amber reflection anymore.

1999TL, since they are made by APC, you got to figure most of the rice-patty tuning shops will be able to get them for you. Why not call up a large mail order site and ask for them?

On the APC issue LOL! When I was shopping for them at the pep boys, I saw the rest of APC's products:yack:. Oh man, I had no idea the amount of crap they manufacture.....did you guys see the coil over kit? Making bulbs, the Altezza epidemic and "accessories" is one thing but having something as critical as the suspension using APC parts scares the sh!t out of me.
