Would you guys trade a stock 2001 Acura TL for a stock 2001 Mercedes Benz C320? Both have about 100k miles on them, both are silver w/black interior, and both are in prestine condition. What would you guys do??

def not... youre looking at a downgrade in power (not positive about compared to the tl-p) , size, reliability, and cost of maintenance, gas mileage, etc. not to mention the tl is a better looking car imo (except for the amg c class)

^ I agree with Type-SuperFast! The maintenance cost of the TL in most cases should be less than that of the Mercedes.
Let me ask this, do you know how well the previous owner of the Mercedes maintained their car? I don't see any point in trading a car that you took care of for another car with the same mileage that may not have been maintained.

the c class is a POS. buddy of mine works for diamler chrisler and said the c class gets all the left over parts from other mercedes. most cars seen at the service department is the c class. DON'T DO IT. too many problems in the long run.

there is a supplier of foam for seats in cars. they supply to both MB and honda...guess which one rejects any foam that is torn or otherwise not perfect and which one goes ahead and puts it in?
yep, honda is more perfectionist (and i'm sure acura as well). MB is starting to come back in the quality, but 01 benz vs any japanese car? hell no.

Thanx again guys for your opinions; don't worry, i've already slapped myself in the back of my head for even considering that trade

My co worker just got an '06 c230 kompressor. Those Kompressors has the AMG bumpers and has the supercharger but its slow, its got 201hp, thats with the supercharger. But I like the look of the car on those models and the interiors looks pretty nice. If you are comparing the '01 vs a 01 TLP I would have to pick the TL hands down. Even with the TL-p you get more power, the '01 c320 are weak, the interior on those are older looking and the non AMG bumpers are ugly IMO. But if you are looking into a newer c320 then you wuold have to compare those to an '04 and up TL, which again, IMO I think the TL owns. Pound for pound, TL wins.
