I guess (some) of you peeps just can't get used to our "crappy domestics"
smoking your a$$es at every light...
Remember, stickers and fart pipes don't make them any faster, they just increase the chuckle factor...

See my response to the other ricer....
Um, isn't that an Acura I also see in your signature? And how is a TL anything close to ricer, oh wise numbnut? I bet I'll roast your domestic F350 from a redlight. I'll meet you in Buffalo in the snow for a race with that T/A or be glad to race you 5 times around Arizona in the heat of summer...

Maybe you have a sick TL, but there isn't anyone on the planet other than you (every publication included) that will say a Pontiac and a Ford has better overall quality than Acura or Honda....

So, STFU noob...

Yes, I also have a TL and that is why I can respond from both
sides...
You guys (and ladies) are too touchy....
Regarding the F350, A 460 with 4:10's is not a racing vehicle and that comment is just plain stupid....But if I did race the truck, lets make it interesting and put a couple of 10,000 lb trailers behind them and race to the top of a mountain pass of your choice...

WTF are you talking about? Who's touchy? I'm just trying to get a handle on your logic--or lack thereof. As far as my little race proposal, I made the rules first! Secondly, it was done in jest following your silly-a$$ comments to begin with...

Have a great weekend...
I am actually hoping to wash the T/A and TL,but with my luck, it will prolly just rain....At least they will be clean for a few days...

Fine here....
I guess I am just dissapointed with the quality problems I have had with my Acura... I was hoping for more... and seriously, my Trans Am is my daily driver and have not had a problem yet (knock on wood)... The funny thing is,my TL barely gets 20mpg and the T/A gets 21-22 with the same driving ...ie, city/highway commute...go figure...

I'm gonna chime in late here...but my answer is no. I don't really like too many cars that are out right now, but if I was forced to get rid of my TL, I'd prolly get an Infiniti FX...45 is ideal...35 is realistic. Not much of a looker, but that thing can handle!

I have 48,000 miles on my 2002 TL-S, and I figure I will keep it for 200,000 miles. Only another 162,000 to go.

Not to make you feel bad, but I went to a funeral. That being said, I haven't seen you say anything stupid yet so your a$$ripping waiver is still intact...

Hey, R10, I emailed comptech but maybe you could answer this. I need the exhaust to go with the SC. But in looking at their website, their exhaust seems to be broken up into 3 parts. (1) stainless catback system for $1095 (2) B-pipe for $450 (3) Stainless axle mufflers $669 and the header and downpipe for $1249. All insane pricing but I have to have it. What I'm not sure about is this, if I get (1) is (2) really required? Why is it called a "b-pipe upgrade?" Can't I just go with (1) & the header and downpipe?

Headers are exactly that. Now, I think, not totally sure, but the B-pipe is included with the catback system. Either way, the axle back is just that...
You do not need to get headers, exhaust etc. to run the s/c, but certainly, you'd have to take the s/c off if you were to add headers later. If I were you, get the header and s/c and if money was an issue, just get an exhaust later as it really is the least effective part of the performance pieces...

Don't get a beat down R10apple, I ain't scared of you!
wuteva...

I am sorry to hear about the funeral...

Apples to oranges....

GTO has a 340HP LS1...
G35 has a 260?? HP V6...

The GTO did not have enough development time prior to
USA release from the Holden configuration..(IMHO)

The next few years will tell though.... If no one buys it...It will get
canceled....
In the F Body circle....It is not worth 35K either....
Who will buy it??? Wait and see...

you dont need any of them. the header is recomended to help further the output. the b pipe is for the people who bought the axel back before they made the complete cat back. now you can buy the complete cat back, or the axle back.
