HI,
I was just curious that if the headrest of the RL would fit in the TL ? Also, where can i get them at good price ?

I am looking to get new headrest if the RL fits then those or else the headrest for the 2000 TL.

Any info will be appreciated.

I have the typeS headrests in parchment if you want those, they fit...ill give you a good price too...Shyne

Yes, the RL headrist DOES fit the 2000 TL. I tried it myself at the dealership because the RL headrist has some tilt adjustability forward and backward where ours does not. As I remember, it was quite expensive via the dealer (I have black interior and it was perfect color match, but of course doesn't match the passenger headrest in size...)
I didn't end up buying one because I found that setting the lumbar setting to the max out position caused my head to contact the headrest comfortably.

I feel you on this one. I was getting my car serviced before I went to Atlanta and I sat in this 01 RL and it felt so freaking comfortable, the headrest hit me just right. I'm thinking on trading my TL in the spring though. I've already logged 20k miles and I bought it January 29th.

i tried doing that and its no good. the way our seats are designed/built, when u put in the RL headrest, even when its fully tilted forward, its still only as close to your head as the stock headrests, and this goes for both TL and TL-S

I noticed the 2002 TL-P headrest does tilt. Has anyone tried to fit them into a 99-2001? They should fit into the same holes.
