Yesterday, I finally got my car back, and went to install the Tein SS.

The driver side front suspension had a seized bolt which refused to come off no matter what we tried. We tried air tools and hammering out for like an hour, but it was completely seized in there. We ended up taking the strut assembly off with the fork still bolted to the lower control arm, took off the upper control arm, and barely squeezed the Tein into the fork.

The passenger side had some threads stripped, so we ended up cutting some bolts and nuts.

My car was in pieces, and midnight came. People started calling me wishing me happy birthday and wondering where the hell I was, because people were over at my house waiting for me. They weren't happy that I was working on my car and stood them up.

At 3, we finally finished the front, and I was dead tired, so we split and didn't do the rears, or the EDFC. I came home, and my brother was locked out of my room, so he was sleeping outside. I felt like a jackass.

To make it worse, I threw my back out while bending over to turn the couch lights off. It hurts so bad every time I move.

My brother just came back with some brewskies, so I'm gonna get wasted and watch the Super Bowl. Hopefully the rest of the day will be better.

I'm sorry to hear that! Yea, you should get wasted. I had a horrible day on Friday, and I drank so much, I passed trashed.... passed shitfaced... in fact, there wasn't a word for what I was. I woke up Saturday still drunk, and I couldn't see straight all day! But it did a hell of a lot for my nerves! Good luck with the car. I dont mess with my suspension. Although I am thinking I will need new shocks and struts shortly.

Just think about it this way, 1/2 a year down the line when you're cruisin with your Teins and EDFC, you'll think this was the best birthday ever!

Derrick -- Eh, you didn't miss much. The commercials sucked, and the game was relatively uneventful. I actually didn't see the entire 2nd half except for the last 3 or so minutes because it was boring.
