Wood
OK, here's the deal -
I'm thinking about buying one of these puppies (Type-S, silver, black interior).
The problem is that I think this plastic fake wood is lame - I'd rather have aluminum or even leather-grained plastic (like most cars) than plastic fake wood. What I really would like is to buy aftermarket accessories to replace every single scap of that plastic with the real deal - in a brown REAL wood (fear not - I'm in a BMW 328i now with the same color scheme - brown wood looks great with black leather).
So, does somebody sell such a sweet REAL wood kit to replace all the fake plastic wood?
Your help will be appreciated - I'll probably end up in an Infiniti G35 otherwise.

The black wood was one of the driving factors of me getting a regular TL. From what I've heard though, it grows on you after a while.
You can easily find a replacement for the black wood(try Joshua Tree), however, I haven't seen a replacement for the door trim yet. And it's been said that getting the wood off the doors is tricky...something with having to get some rivets off, and if you mess up, you have to replace the entire door skin.

I personally like the blackwood. It's a matter of taste of course.
I've ordered the real wood kit from Joshua to complete the package. I suppose some people think it looks fake, because
they aren't used to seeing wood stained black/grey.
I've read reviews mention that they don't think the brown wood
looks good in the car either, they call it plastic. I thought
that the brown was real wood in our cars, and the black was
plastic trim. Eitherway, when I'm done I will have Mostly
wood trim, when the Joshua kit gets in.
