Winter floor mats, which ones do you recommend
Well I hear we're going to have a turrential winter, and therefore don't want my A-Spec mats to take a beating. Can you guys recommend a brand, or a place where I can purchase good winter floor mats? I wouldn't mind them saying Acura on them if at all possible. BTW I would prefer to get them in a set of 4, 2 for the front and 2 for the back.
thanks

For the winter I was going to buy those rubber mats, but Acura only sells them for the front two and not the rears, so I was going to buy generic at a locar auot store. Maybe someone else can suggest something better?

I use the weathertechs. They cover more area than the OEM all weather mats, and they do a better job holding stuff in.
I'm debating selling my weathertechs and getting their new carpeted line.

hey where can I buy some of that protective lining stuff? As long as I have that one the bottom, then I'm willing to settle for a crappy winter floor mat. I mean, so long as most of the snow and salt falls on the mat and the outer part of the carpet is protected by this lining, then I'll be A Ok!!!
anyone know where to buy this? and how to install it? is it as simple as just resting it down on the floor? or do you actually secure it down to the floor?

voila ......
think of it as a lagre 3M Post-it sticker.. it has about the same stickiness..... we use that stuff on biz jets on the carpet. We lay it down and staff walk on it for weeks.... and months and it lasts no problem until the aircraft is due out... then we just remove it....

Wait I dont get it...this might sound stupid, but you gotta put that clear plastic down on ur carpet and then your regular mats? Cuz if that is the case, I mean that looks so ugly IMO. Clarify someone please.

NYDESI is right once water and snow gets on the plastic it looks horrible. My set of Rubber mats have Cannon written on them and they do an awesome job. Maybe you can try going to the local auto parts store and find some thick good quality rubber.

With the snow we get up here in Canada, the OEM rubber mat are fine but will still get some spil overs during the winter... just trying to protect the carpet as much as I can...
I agree it looks funny... but with our 6 months winters up here I rather have the carpet protected then having to scrub those salt stains.
