cleaning the trunk with dawn, then Rubbing alcohol first is a good idea. Heating the tape up really helps. If you have already tried it you may need to replace the tape.

Man i didn't think you were gona have this much trouble with the tape... If you are just going to attach it with tape only i suggest you take off the tape it came with and just replace it with new 3M tape from the automotive store. I thought you were going to use the 3M tape it came with AND drill it on.

I'm Down Right Fierce!
Hmm. Odd that you're having a hard time with the 3M tape. But you should listen to all of the directions above.
1. Make sure trunk surface is clean. Going over it with a cleaner to get the dust off first, then rubbing alcohol.
2. Make sure the surface is dry when you mount the spoiler.
3. Prior to mounting, get a blow dryer and gently warm the tape before peeling off the red tape liner.
4. After placing the spoiler on the car, hold it in place for a good 2 minutes; pressing firmly on the contact areas of the 3m tape. You want to make sure that the entire strips of 3m has good contact with the trunk surface.
5. Let the spoiler and the car sit for a few days without getting wet. I see that you're in Miami. I have no idea what the weather is like over there, but keep it garaged or covered for a couple days before going out to get a wash. Humidity levels may play a factor as well.
I've had my WW on my car for about 7 months, and I also got it mounted with 3m tape. I was skeptical at first, but man that 3m tape really does hold up well. I mean it is on there really really tight.
BTW, I'm planning to get coilovers soon. If you want Tokico Blues and Tanabe NF210 springs, give me a holler in a couple weeks.
Oh yeah, and sweet ride. WW spoiler FTW!

I wasn't able to use just the tape on my car either. Seeing how the spoiler pulled the tape off didn't give me much faith in it either; especially over time. On my car, I had to use the screws, and tape in order to get a flush, secure fit. Without the screws, I couldn't get it to sit perfectly flush.

The dimples did not lineup 100% with the screw holes, but I was able to utilize them, by stretching the hole out. I did that by drilling on an angle which was more than enough.
Some tips for you from what I can remember;
Since the back lip of the spoiler sits over the edge of the trunk lid, and wants to slide off the back, dont try the install alone; definitely get someone to help you.
Use painters tape on the trunklid in areas that will contact the spoiler to prevent scufffing. You can remove it after your holes are drilled, and you are ready for the final install.
I used a NON permanent marker to trace the outline of the spoiler (especially the front edge of it) on the trunk. That made the final line up, and install easier. Since it has the tape, you have to drop it right into place, you cant slide it around.
Good Luck.
P.S. Yup, the plates are real.

I installed my Mugen today and that shit was a pain in the ass. That 3m tape FREAKIN BONDS!!! Took me a good half an hour by myself until I could get that thing to sit flush. Then I drilled the side pieces. I Should've had another person help me.
