OEM and Wings West are the only nice looking ones. There are other Japanese imports that look ridiculously ricey

No shit about google. Any idiot who uses a computer knows that. But this is an Acura forum whereas I am a new Acura owner I would like the opinions of other owners.

Well I wasn't about to list sites for you. But if you type "Tl wings west body kit" it is a complete page of perfect hits.

 

there are quite a few kits, not alot, but definitly different from the original OEM's and wings wesst lip kits..

you can get whole bumper kits by sarona (which are HUGE and bulky), or you can try the japanese brands like Blaze or the Value kits..

the blaze and values are definitly NOT ricey looking kits, since theyre also sorta like a lip add-on (for sides and rears) but the fronts look nice and simple but alot lower than stock bumper

try searching the forums, there were quite a few threads on here about those. theres also a bunch of pics available on the site and places to order from.

i dont like the oem's or the WW lips, since IMO theyre played out/too common on the TL's these days.

 

I respectfully disagree. The rears *especially* on the Value and Blaze kits are too large for me. They just strike me as ricey, whereas the OEM and WW kits strike me as slick looking. And I've never seen a TL in my area that had a kit on it, so WW will make me distinguished

 

I have seen many posts about the WW and OEM so I was curious as to other options that have been actually installed. I have lurked/posted on this forum for a few weeks and they seem to be the theme. I wondered if there are other TL owners out there that have purchased other kits and installed them with success and are happy with the result. Not meaning to be an arsehole myself but if I wanted WW reviews, I would have used those search terms. I assume there are other brands out there I am not yet familiar with and if you do a google search using "2002 tl body kits" there are 203000 returns. A little cumbersome to sift through.

Anyone have pics of any other kits?

is the Blaze kit sold in the US?? or that is only in Japan?? anyone know??

 

its only sold in japan, but there are a few people on this board that you can contact to get it shipped over here. ive seen it on a few people's cars that live in the NY/NJ area and damn does it look real nice. subtle, clean, but gives it a nice sleek look.

try searching.. not quite sure which thread but just search Blaze kit and you should find a thread from last week that has a contact number.
