Windshield Washer Switch Problem/Replacement

Couldn't find anything on this previously posted. Windshield washers don't work.
Removed pump, checked with direct electrical connection-pump runs fine.
Blew out water lines & nozzles-clean & clear all the way.
Hooked up meter to pump connection plug & tested for voltage when pushing in washer botton on end of wiper control arm.
Would only get very brief voltage a few times, only when really banging in on switch real hard.

Anyone dealt with this problem?
Think the switch can be disassembled & contacts cleaned or something to fix it?
Replacement switch is $90 through special order at local parts store.
Does this sound like I'll just have to replace it?

Acura parts site

If my local dealer says they are ordering something and it will be in in a day or 2, is this where they are getting from?
Do I save shipping by going through dealer or am I always better off ordering directly through the site, even with the shipping charges ?

Thanks for getting me lined out on all these questions.
Hopefully I'll soon get the little things wrong with the car fixed back up and won't have so many questions.

No, if they have to order it in its coming from honda. That site is a dealer in GA. Many times you are better off getting it there as its many times cheaper than the dealer. Call your dealer and see what they charge for the part. Many times some will try to match or come close.
