D@mn, soft paint and soft glass. We I guess thats where Acura cuts some corners. I have spotted two small chips on the windshield. My TL-S has 7300miles on it. My dad's 528i has almost 80k on it with no chips at all.

And as we all know the paint is just as bad. 3 chips so far. the majority of my dad's BMW paint damages is from being keyed. Those Azzholes.

At least I didn't have to pay close to $40k for a nice car though.

 

I know what you mean. I'm about to roll 5K and have 2 myself. Sucks.

LOL; try living in an area of the country that has a winter. My windshield (and car nose) are completely sandblasted by all the damn sand they put on the roads to keep the idiots around here from killing themselves.

When the sun hits my windsheild just right I can't see out of it; imagine thousands of tiny flecks in the glass.

A big ass rock hit it, too, and it chipped the windshield a tiny bit. It hasn't webbed or anything at all. It's holding very strong. I don't think our windshield is weak. But that's just me.
