How much does it roughly cost to repair a windshield damaged by a stone? The initial damaged is a small impact ding at around 1-3 cm big, but a very thin crack is noticeable. How much would it be to repair such damage?

 

if the crack is big then it cannot be fixed, have to replace the windshield

if a small crack shouldn't be too expensive, less than 100

You don't have comp and collision coverage? Check your insurance policy, if you have comp, you may have full glass.

If not, try looking in your local yellow pages for the Glass Doctor.....they fixed a small crack in my TLs windshield for $50 and it's guaranteed for a year and it was a great fix.

 

Just went to an local AutoGalss place. The windsheild needs to be replaced since there is crack. My insurance will cover it though.
