window tint in Windsor?!?
I live in detroit, but I heard that getting your windows tinted in windsor is a lot cheaper because it is legal in windsor. Anyone know how much places charge in windsor? its only a 45 min drive for me, so I don't mind if its a lot cheaper. The only prices I've been finding is about $245......but someone was sayin you could prob get it done for about $150 in canada. Is that true? or was the guy BSing me? Any help? Thanks in advance.

u can try "shine master", on eugene. They have been in business for a while , and have great results from what i have heard, although might be on the pricey side compared to others. I got the TL tinted however, at this other place, who also tinted are house windows so he gave us a good discount, however the quailty isnt the best(not really a problem cuz theres a lifetime warrenty on it so it can be fixed anytime-im just too lazy to bring it in to fix it-)
But the 245 sounds like an ALRIGHT price. But remember, this is CDN $$, so its like $170 USD

i used them ...
Hey,
I'm awfully SLOW at this post but here's my $0.02 -- I used 'Shine Master' on Eugenie. On the most part, they did a good job, HOWEVER -- I forgot to make sure they tinted in front of the 3rd brake light. Big mistake! (on my part)
I guess it's a 'legal' thing for them to keep it untinted but kinda breaks up the 'lines' of the rear window. Good thing I have the OEM spoiler, otherwise it would look so weird from another car's perspective to see it exposed.
Hope that helps. BTW, I paid C$230, taxes included (if I remember correctly!) I have the receipt in the car somewhere...
