Post Wind Noise Problem?

Anyone getting wind noise from the door seal areas? The car I test drove was extremely quiet, but I notice that the driver's door seal may not be exactly right.

Anyone else having this problem?

Also, make sure you check the air pressure on your tires after picking the car up from the dealer. I couldn't believe how rough the car was riding over a few small bumps. I checked the tires this morning:

Front right - 41
Front left - 36
Back right - 31
Back left - 30

The manual says 32 for all tires. No wonder it was a rough ride!

It's always hard to tell what one person considers to be "wind noise"... cuz if he's coming off a Lexus LS400, a TL-S may be one of the noisest rides around! Is this an unusually loud wind noise, and does it seem to "whistle" .. cuz I find those to be the most annoying. I had that problem w/ my '94 ES300 and there was actually a Lexus "fix" for it.

I actually sprayed Armor-all on all the rubber door seals, and I notice the car doors open much quieter (no "sticky" sounds when opening it) and the car .. hell it might be quieter when driving .. couldn't tell you for sure w/o about $100.00 of equipment from RadioShack.

Let me know the ride after you readjust to 32.

Much better ride now that all tires are set at 32! No more extremely hard ride like I was getting before. I love the car even more now!

Thanks for the heads-up on the door seals. I'll check mine tomorrow. The wind noise around the driver's door sounds like it's coming in around the seal. It doesn't sound like it's coming from the mirror.

I was also noticed that the rubber seals around the door aren't put on very good. I inspected the car a couple of days after I bought it and noticed that when I had all of the doors open and looked at seals (especially around the bottom) the were barely glued on. Look like they used a double sided adhesive every 6" or so. Will take it in and bring it to the dealers attention the next I need to take it in for an oil change. I also needed to adjust the air in my tires upon delivery. Has anyone else noticed that the front and rear bumper is a little bit loose where it attached to the fender wheel. I noticed that there are a couple of screw holes but no screws in them. Otherwise, the car is great except for the lousy gas mileage I'm getting in town. I've only got 450 miles on the car so maybe it will get better.

I picked up my TL-S today. The insulation
is not very good with this car. I can
hear the wind noise even when driving on
local street. The road noise is loud
too. That may have to do with the tire
pressure.

I remember the test drive was much better.
