Lately i feel like the tl-s is just not running that smooth and needs a little something, no check engine light on or anything , just fee like its lacking some power and sluggish - I am now at 97,000 miles and was thinking it would be a good idea to change out the coil packs and some sensors - IAC valve, egr vale - just to smooth things out - waste of time or not?

Could be a waste of time, not sure though. I will suggest cleaning out your EGR ports thuroughly along with the throttle body as well. Other members have done this and said that it did make a difference, especially for the members whose ports were all dirty and clogged up. I dont know about the coil pack and sensors, im sure those are fine but hey, get some thermoblock spacers if anything to avoid heat soak which is when you loose horsepower.

Waste of money. Change your plugs, run some fuel injector cleaner thru it and thats about all you can do.
