Will type s exhaust fit on 99tl-p

Will type s exhaust fit on 99tl-p
I've been looking for a stock exhaust system and I wanted to know will the type s exhaust fit. (also is it the same exhaust as the stock 99 exhaust?)

No it is different and no it will not fit. The exhaust from the cat to the axles is different and the two will not line up correctly.

From the axle back they might work though.

It will work fine from axel back, not sure about cat-back

Yes it will fit on your TL-p. I put my stock exhaust on my friends 99 TL and it bolted up perfect. The difference is the size of piping and the resanator's. That's all

^ Then how come the Comptech B-pipe for the Type-S is WAY off on the premium? But you are saying the OEM exhaust is compatible?

Yes that is correct the stock Type-s exhaust will fit the TL-P no problem at all.

Hey FastTL, will the ENTIRE cat-back(The pipe from the catalytic converter to the axle, and the dual exhaust from type-s) TYPE-S exhaust fit a 99 TL-P? or just the rear exhausts. Thanks

Yes the whole cat-back exhaust will fit from the TL-S to a TL-P.

On the TL-S the piping is bigger and it has different resanator's then the TL-P
