Yes it will rub. You need at least a 48 offset of 18s. Since you have 19s, you probably need an offset of 50 to be safe.

Thanks for the tip dragon, but offset goes by rim width, not diameter.

Your very close, I heard of even 19x8 w/ +45 offset not rubbing. Just a little trim of the back tab thing! so it looks like 19x7.5 w/ +44 should barely make it (again with a little trim). I would say 19x7.5 w/ +48 and 19x8 w/ +50 if you don't want to trim anything!

P.S. what rim are you looking at???

I was looking at the Racing Hart Evolution C2 19x7.5, but i guess i wont get them since everyone says they will rub with the +44 offset.

I have 7.5" with +46 offset and it does not rub, but very close.

Well rubbing goes with the diameter too, unless you keep the same overall diameter of the stock rims using lower tires.

BTW H&R springs would not make a different when it comes to rubbing. As might as well any aftermarket spring/coilover. Since up/down motion of the wheel is control by arms. Having a lower spring would not change the path/angle of the wheel as it goes up and down. This will always be true unless you get a camber kit, since our rear suspension are not camber adjustable.

Is 2 new adjustable arms that allow your rear suspesion to adjust the camber by an specific range.

I have 19x8's w/ +40mm offset, Comptech springs, and no rubbing. Just need to trim a little plastic in the rear fenderwells. You may not even need to do that. And I didn't need a camber kit for proper alignment either, just a good shop. I recommend Weber Alignment in West Palm Beach, no one's better.

Thanks for the pics. My new rims and dubs are rubbing in the back, and I am going to start by trimming down the bumper tabs.

My question: Do I need to take the tire off if I plan on doing it with the dremmel or should I have enough room to shave it down with my rear wheels in place?

I didn't need to take off the tires, but I used a small air saw. You should be fine, just put something over the tires so you don't fvck them up. Make sure you get all of the plastic, it goes up about an inch and a half into the fender well.
