Will a rear main seal leak ruin a clutch?

I'm pretty sure I've got a leak in the rear main seal, I see residual oil hanging out around the area where the engine and transmission mate. I believe I forgot to change the rear main seal when I put this engine in.

I've been noticing my clutch is a little slippery on days where I drive longer distances. There have been times where I'm in third gear and I press on the gas, the RPMS go higher but the car doesn't actually accelerate in sync with the revs. This leads me to believe the clutch is slipping.

So question, I'm pretty sure that since there is a leak there, oil is puddling and getting splashed on the clutch making it slippery, does this pose a risk to make the clutch wear out faster? I have less than 10k on this clutch and I do not get on it very often. Thanks for the feedback.
