I understand they're HID, but there're a lot of other HIDs out there.. do these easily fit some other car? I don't see any really, the accords headlights look different and that's the closest car to the tl..

also are these just the 2002's that are being stolen? and is this just an east coast thing?

The TL healdlights are not being stolen for the headlights themselves, but for the bulbs and HID ballasts which are being rigged up in other cars. The TL and CL are easy targets just for the fact that EVERY TL and CL has HIDs which cant be said for other makes. A thief always knows that a TL or CL definitely has a set of HIDs which he may not be sure of if he were to hit an audi or other make.

FYI though Audis and other makes are also being hit and its not just an east coast thing.

 

i dunno i think someone tried to steal my headlights because i have this huge gap on the right headlight which i need to get fixed by a body shop when i install the kit and wing...

 

Not all CL's have HID's, I think just CL-S's do. I guess it may be an option for a regular CL but most regular CL's don't have them.

 

hey Mr. Hyde.. yeah, i guess, although i go there almost every day.. i'm looking at buying a TL next month.. so i'm hanging around here a lot more.

 

all 01 cl's have hid lights, cl-s and cl premiums, its not an option. the only cl's that dont have them are the 1st generation body style 97-00

 

Every single CL and CL-s has the HIDs. The CLs of the previous generation did not have HID lights.

 

Hmmm. My bad. When the 01' Cl's first came out I could have swore that I saw a none S one that had regular halogens. Maybe I'm mistaken.

 

1999 to 2002 headlights fit perfectly in may honda counter parts. I've been debating ordering some come headlights for an accord. I have friends with a coupe and some with sedans and it still looks like they match perfectly.
